Burnside Cottage- self contained Farmstay Manawatu

Burnside Cottage is a three bedroom self-contained farmstay, located one hours scenic drive from Palmerston North, Manawatu. The Cottage is located on farmland with beautiful views of the Ruahine Ranges.  Burnside is a perfect place to relax in all seasons. In summer you can enjoy swimming in the nearby Coal Creek River. In winter feel cosy by the Kent log burner or soak in the claw foot bath. Animals nearby include; deer, sheep, horses, pigs, cows and goats.
The Cottage has been recently refurbished from its 1920's era to retain its charming native wooden floors and detailed patterned ceilings.

Makoura Lodge is a short five minute walk from Burnside, where you can take advantage of its facilities and activities on offer. During your stay you are welcome to take a farm walk to visit the animals or take in the fresh air and the beautiful scenery.
