Welcome to Makoura Lodge, New Zealand’s ultimate country conference venue offering
fantastic overnight conference packages which can include transportation to and from the Lodge, delicious
home cooked meals, Qualmark 4-star accommodation and practical conference rooms with natural light, fresh air
and stunning views. All your corporate requirements with only nature to distract you.
We have been operating for over eleven years and offer tranquil, peaceful surroundings away from
the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing guests to naturally focus - the only distraction being the
resident Tui’s and the Fallow Deer.
Along with full conference facilities and a desire to provide an exceptional conference
experience, we also have a well-stocked restaurant and bar available for your refreshment and
sustenance.
We can accommodate up to 55 guests on a shared basis or 18 guests each with a single room.
On site activities include Horse Trekking, Clay-bird shooting, Tramping, Quad Bike tours or challenges, Trout
Fishing, axe throwing, archery, hole-in-one golf along with various lawn sports and all levels of team
building games. We also boast a state of the art 4WD track developed in partnership with Toyota New Zealand,
which can be used for your ultimate 4WD experience.
We also offer a Business Development Unit of professional dynamic presenters, facilitators and
trainers to ensure you realise a great return on your investment.
