Overview of the Venue
Our establishment is situated in close proximity to the Ruahine Ranges, on 660 acres of working
farm with peaceful rural and native bush surroundings. It has a fully licensed bar and relaxing lounge area
with a magnificent open fire. Our restaurant serves fine food prepared by our team of qualified chefs. The
menu can be tailored to suit individual needs with any special dietary requirements catered
for.
The Lodge accommodation is of a high standard, with six tastefully decorated
Native Macrocarpa Units adjoining the Main Lodge, all with private bathrooms, two including Spa Baths. All units
boast great views of the Ruahine Ranges.
We also have two fully self-contained cottages available, The Glen Luce
Historic Homestead is situated at the entrance to Makoura Lodge and comprises five bedrooms and two bathrooms with
the facility to sleep 14 guests. Burnside Cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 9 guests.
Enclosed in this portfolio is our pricing, menu options and activity
list. The price is inclusive of food and accommodation for a full day per person and exclusive use of our
conference facilities. However they are flexible for your group's requirements. Any part days are charged for on a
per meal basis.
